I'm going to be in the Orlando area for a week in May. After spending 4 days in Disney, plus going to Universal and Sea World I'm going to need a break. Does anyone know of anything Porsche going on. I have May 27, 28, 29 open. Any advise on anything a Porsche nut would like to see or do within a 4 or 5 hour drive is appreciated, Formula 1 Karting, or ? I am looking for a 1973 911 non sunroof coupe. It would be great to look at some if anyone knows of any for sale.

Youre lucky....as it just so happens, Porschefest with be going on in Mount Dora, FL
from May 26-29. This is a 45 minute drive from Orlando.

Thanks Rico, that sounds good. How big of an event is this, about how many cars will attend? Is the show on the grounds of the hotel? I think I might show up Fri. night or Sat. morn.

there is usually 75 to 80 cars shown on the hotel lawn, not counting the others around
the hotel grounds that are not in the concours. it is a pretty good sized event.
the best day to go if your not staying at the hotel is saturday morning.
this is the main event day. I will be there that morning, as the wife and kid with
be at disney also.
