Test Driving a 718 GT4 (and swapping for a lotus Evora GT?)
Hi all,
Former 996.2 owner here. Last year I decided to get. 2021 Lotus Evora GT 6 speed and am thoroughly enjoying the heck out of this car. For me, the only comparable car that I was looking at was a 2020+ GT4 manual (with carbon buckets).
I had an interesting thought while driving to work this morning. At the time, other than going to a dealer and test driving a GT4 and getting the old sales pitch and dealer markups, there was no real way of driving the GT4 (could not find a company that was renting them). Right now I have an itch to compare the 2 cars.
I was wondering if there is anyone local to NJ\NY that would consider letting me drive their GT4 manual (they would be a passenger) and in turn, I’d let you drive my Evora GT (I would be a passenger). No clowning around, just wanting to test out the car for 30 min or so. Heck, we could even take the cars out for a nice drive if you’re up for it.
