Body shop near Chapel Hill, NC
Hi,
I was hoping to tap into the collective knowledge to find a good body shop in the Research Triangle area in NC? I’m not normally in this region, but due to some damage that happened while on a trip down in this area have a car that is presently there and it seems the logical choice would be to get it fixed there vs transporting it home on a flatbed.
I have already on my list: Caliber Collision in Raleigh (3110 Capital Boulevard) and Euroclassics in Durham.
Do people have experiences with either? (DM is okay). Are there other shops to consider? How important is it to have a Porsche Approved Collision Center? Would shops have differing approaches on whether to replace or repair certain parts?
I definitely want to have a great job done and I love this car (957 CTTS). It’s also my daily driver and I can’t imagine selling it. It’s a bit stressful navigating this remotely and perhaps I’m overthinking things.
