Default looking to try 997 with Numeric shifter

I live in NYC and have been wanting to test drive a 997 with a Numeric shifter, I'm on the fence whether to upgrade my pretty sloppy stock setup to a Numeric - any owners out there?

I'm in Manhattan and commute often to Fairfield County.

Thanks, happy holidays, and stay healthy,

James

Sorry I'm not anywhere near you and I have a 991, but I can tell you that I have recently upgraded to the Numeric shifter and cables.
To say it's worth it is an understatement! You won't believe the difference from the stock sloppy shifter (and that's coming from my 2017 with 26K miles on it).

Do yourself a favor and just do it. You will not regret it.

Thanks for the pro tip rugu, I'm starting to fall off the fence toward buying..

When I spoke to Turbo Performance Center (TPC) in Maryland about it they recommended going with new stock cables rather than the Numeric cables, I can't remember why.

Hit up Tico at Torrent Motorworks! He has always been a big advocate of our shifter and cables! I'm sure he has some in his cars or atleast knows someone close to you that does!

I'd 100% recommend going with the Numeric cables. The stock cables look like a bicycle cable (tiny) compared to the Numeric. It brings the whole thing together.
