Looking for engine builder recommendations
All,
I'm considering doing a full motor refresh / build on my 88 911. I'd like to shoot for 250-275 whp... thinking a bump to 3.4 + more aggressive cams will probably get me in that range. Car put down 205 last year at the hub with a fabspeed exhaust and steve wong chip. Can anyone recommend a good trusted local engine builder? I'm in MA but willing to travel a few hundred miles if necessary. I would also want my G50 trans refreshed as well and a few clutch. At least 2nd synchro needs replacing.
Also - what should I (roughly) expect for cost here? I know this can vary ALOT based on build and state of the motor when its pulled apart. My feeling is 20k at least but I'm not sure.
