I have been researching for about two months now and I can't seem to find any outer CV joints for the front axles for a 1999 911 C4. I can barely find the full axle assemblies. I was wondering if anyone could help me out. If there aren't any places that make just the outer CV joint and I do have to replace the entire axle, can I use a "rear" axle up front or are they truly different axles? It the pictures they seem to be exactly the same so I'm not real sure. Also, I've never worked on a porsche before (just about everything else) and so any and all additional guidance on the front, outer CV joint/axle would be greatly appreciated.
