motor mount replacement time line
This Thread started out as asking if I really needed to replace my MM on my 85. It turns out it did. I also learned no one had a solid estimate of time; It was all over the board, 3 hours to 3 days. So here we go.... Using this document
http://members.rennlist.com/pirtle/svc_mm.html
and these tools
A 10 gal air compressor
a 250ft# air impact
a 19mm wremch
a 17 mm wrench
and the needed sockets
125# torque wrench
400# torque wrench
the car is on jack stands about 14 inches

It's not that bad of a job. I'd do it just for peace of mind. The main difference I could tell was inside the cab. Before, some vibration was noticable. Now, smooth as silk after a year and a half on $15 Anchor mounts.

Open your hood.
Stand there looking at the engine. Have someone start the car.
If the motor rocks, they are fine. If it does not move, time to replace them.
Easy test for ya.
