Default Mxl2 and smarty cam HD / brake pressure

So have the mxl2 and smartycamHD in my car

On channel 5 of mxl2 is an aim brake pressure sensor. The sensor is working and you can extract data on racing studio

On RS3 under the options I've sent that the mXL should send rpm, speed, tps and brake pressure to the smarty cam - all of that data shows up on the videos but brake pressure - the little red bar never moves

Ideas?

Did you go configure the SmartyCam HD to use that channel for brake pressure using SmartyManager 2?

Hmm I never saw a place on smarty manager where it asks to assign the specific channel - may be my problem

Use Race Studio 3 for configuring the camera. In that camera configuration, select the brake pressure icon on the preview screen. Choices below will be brake pressure, brake position or inline acceleration. Select pressure from the drop down menu, save the configuration and send it to the camera via USB or on the SD card. Take a look at your data first and determine what pressure should be full scale. That value is entered to the right of the way the channel is displayed (that drop down menu in the configuration).

Funny. I didn't quite get how to setup a new collection for the SmartyCam in RS3 so I did it SmartyManager. Now I see how to do it RS3.....

Regardless, the OP probably needs to tell the camera what input to use for the Brake icon.

And you can do that in both.
