Couple of smarty cam hd bullet questions
1. are there resolution settings, video doesnt seem as clear as a gopro or replay
2. do you configure the data you would like to see and the layout of the playback in rs3?
thanks, hope to use it again next week.

Can you post some video? They are normally very sharp.
It's easiest to use smartymanager 2 to do the setup. Updates are easily done in RS3 or SM2.

The resolution of the SmartyCam HD, due to the limitations required by writing digital information onto the video real-time, is not quite what the GoPro and Replay are. The SCHD are 720p max resolution, the GoPro and Replay are typically shooting video in 1080p.
That said, an SCHD with exposure that is properly set, aimed well and with a new or very clean lens is pretty darned good. Would need to know a lot more about your setup.
My preference is SmartyManager 2 for setup of the display information on the background of the video.

If I remember right you are in a SRF, which should have good video quality as I pointed out and Peter reaffirmed.

I will try and post a video today. I am in an SRF, first time using the camera and cleaned it every session with eye glass cleaner. I have the mount right over my head. May be i am use to the other cameras. Thanks for all the replies!
