AIM Evo4 modifying tracks

AIM Evo4 modifying tracks
Hello I have a EVO4 G-Dash SmartyHD combination. I have an annoying problem with a local track thats in the Aim track database but has the start finish line almost half way around the track from where it should be.
I have tried setting a new track manually from the dash but it keeps reverting to the position in the database.
I connected using GPS manager and deleted the track and then tried again manually setting the start position. Again no success it reverts to the database location even though I have deleted it.
I tried altering the position in the database using the "cursor pos" function. Seemed to work ok and it appeared in the location on the track map where I wanted it. Transmitted it but out on track again it still reverted and showed the lap time half way around.
Would anybody have any suggesions as to what else I might try. Thanks in advance.

Grant, the device doesn't know where start finish is unless GPS Manager shows it either on the EVO4 (when connected to it) OR the SmartCamHD (when connected directly to it or if there is a gps.config file on the card).
Make sure both are cleared and then load just the EVO4 with the desired s/f.

GPS coordinates
Grantnz
Look at your data and write down the Lat and Long from your data at the point s/f is really located. Then go to GPS manager and edit the track s/f coordinates and then save it to your computer. Then go to the EVO 4 and delete that track from the EVO and add your saved track. If your track shows up in your video, you can replace that file with your saved version also

Peter, thanks for those tips.
Was able to test that at the track today and SUCCESS finally after quite a few previous attempts.
Many thanks for your assistance
I just remembered one other thing I have never been able to achieve on the Evo4 as per the picture titles for the 2 data fields on the mainscreen ie "OilP" and "EngT"

Does it read information but not the right labels, now? If so, this will fix it.

That's strange. Could you transmit and check again? Otherwise, there may be an issue with the G-Dash display. Take a picture of your current dash, please!
