Default AIM and Traqmate

Is there a way to overlap / convert one lap data list to a different platform?

Have one lap in Aim and one in Traqmate

No, not unless you want to make up an Excel spreadsheet and then graph the results.

I recommend printing the speed versus distance and accel/braking versus distance graphs and then scale the same AiM graphs the same way and compare. That's what I do. Having had seven or eight years of TM data and then converting almost completely to AiM and MoTeC for the last three or four, I have researched this a great deal and come up with simple workflows to allow simple comparisons.

Now, IF you had Race-Keeper, there is an import function that maps the .csv export values from a .tqm Traqmate data file, and you could compare directly...

Peter...the RK workaround is promising but did not work for me. I exported in traqmate style file and had to manually add .csv for comparo to see it.

After opening I get:
1 long lap
everything works except Lateral G, Inline G and Verticle G and Lateral+Inline G (Math) is just 1 or 0 flags....so really only speed vs distance.

When looking in the csv source there is other data but only 1 lap from tm.

I have an actual need to direct compare back to tm in a week and I was going to also do the print outs but this would be so much better. How have you made this work better?

Thanks!!!

I'm sorry. The export function from Traqmate to a .csv and the import into Comparo worked really well for me. I was working with COTA data and had no problems. Do not have an answer, I'm sorry.
