In a day and age where it seems customer service is at the bottom of the list of things companies provide - especially in the automotive/racing industry, I felt it necessary to point out an experience I just had with AIM:

A couple weeks ago, we were at the seminar that Jerry Austin put together at Vortex Motorsports. As always, Roger Cadell did an awesome job showing us the power of the AIM stuff. I had a couple questions about our data which really seemed way off (I'm not THAT bad of a driver!!) First Jerry noticed it, then it was confirmed by Roger...the Positional Accuracy of the SOLO we have was WAAAAY off. Normally, it should be 1-2 meters or so...ours was upwards of 12! So, they recommended I send it back to AIM in Roanoke to be looked at.

I sent it out Monday morning 1/26. First thing in the morning Wednesday 1/28 I got a call from Will at AIM saying he found a bad GPS board, replaced it, tested it out (now at 1.9 meter accuracy) and was shipping it out. NO CHARGE! And he apologized that he hadn't called me Tuesday because he just got caught up with some things and didn't get to calling me. It was done Tuesday!

Think about that...I mailed it Monday...and it was received, diagnosed, repaired, tested and ready to be returned THE NEXT DAY!!! At no charge!!

Thats about as good as it gets in my book.
