Something that was added a while ago but lots of people haven't noticed is the ability to create 2-5 segments with the click of a button (versus the regular autogenerated lat g based segments) and the ability to pick a subset of laps with a button click. These can really speed up analysis and give you great data without having to work through the software a bunch. There have been a bunch of little add on buttons like this added and I'll try to keep pointing them out. It can really speed up your process and make RS3 easier to use.

Click the segments button and then pick the number you want.
Click the laps button and then you can pick first, last, best, or best segments!
Putting it all together really quick for analysis!
