Default How Mercedes uses F1 Data

I thought this article was interesing and gave a good high level overview of what Mercedes does with their data https://www.racecar-engineering.com/...MKTd6OvgiP3glI

Interesting notes:
  • they have about 250 sensors on the car (I'm a third of the weight there)
  • about 30 mb of data is generated per lap
  • telemetry with delays as low as 10 ms! The bad performance is 400 ms - less than half a second!
  • Over 11 terrabytes of data goes back and forth from the track and factory during a race weekend.
