Can I connect my Solo DL in my 2022 BGTS?
Oh great and wise tech gurus, I have yet more beginner type questions which I am certain have been asked before, but being an inherently lazy fellow I will ask anyway
1) Can I use my old Solo DL in my new BGTS?
2) Is there a specific plug for the new car? (I seem to have lost the CAN plug that came with the unit.)
3) What camera would you recommend to go along?
4) Do you have any suggested mounting solutions that would work in a Boxster besides a forward looking windshield mount for a camera?
Thanks!

Yes, an unterminated CAN/RS-232/power and ground cable
Yes, the SmartyCam V2.1 or V2.2, the new SC3 is not compatible with the original Solo DL
You could use a suction cup and hang it from the back glass with a narrow angle (67 degree) lens or use a V-mount on the luggage tie down (if it’s like the earlier cars) right behind your seat with an 84 degree lens. The easy button is the Track Kit that sticks on the dash. Matt had a used 120 degree V2.1 that would work perfectly.

I do not believe you are correct on the SC3 not being compatible with the older devices. I have to double check and don't have any RS2 devices to do it with.
The 120 is already with a new owner. I'm out of cameras now.

Umm, no. I've not deleted any threads in the last year, except some commercial ads. I've hidden some dealer boasting, though. Against the rules.
Check out Piotr's thread with the test footage. It's up. Man, you are paranoid.

You could just call or message all your "friends" and find out from them, but Robinson and Bryc both have said that full functionality is not available for RS2 configured devices.

I work very hard to make sure people understand I am not an AiM employee. Thank you for pointing it out again.
