Race Studio 3 Analysis Released to Production
If you're an AiM user, they just made RS3 Analysis full production. That doesn't mean that they won't keep adding features, but it's in the latest release of RS3 and available to everyone. It's a big deal as it's the culmination of years worth of work and the offers a ton of new options for AiM users. I hope folks who haven't used it in the beta phase start using it. The added functions, profiles, and coloring options make it a big improvement over RS2. When you consider the integrated video, it's a no brainer for anyone with a SCHD to move to RS3 Analysis.
You can update through the regular update in RS3. After installing, you'll have the RS3 button for analysis. Post any questions you have an I'm happy to help.

The programs are totally separate, so you'll have to import your data in production. That can be done with importing the folder where the data is stored. Profiles can be shared across the version by sharing them to your cloud account and then using them in the production version.

If you have any issues updating, the install will roll back on its own.
On more than one computer, I needed a fresh install from the AiM-Sportline download page, not from within the current release candidate of RS3.
Like Matt says, no more need for the beta after importing what you want off that.

Sorry if you thought I said that. The beta is still fully functional and will continue to have some other updates in it. The plan is that they will keep it around for trying new things, adding trial features, etc. This was covered in today webinar and at PRI.

This is great news @Matt Romanowski !
Does this version have Math channels and “proper” signal filtering?
Excited to give it a go. Thanks for letting us know.

You will probably not have the filtering you want. Filtering is 4 levels now (none, soft, medium, hard). I do not have more details on what they are doing in the filtering steps right now.

@ydd , I would recommend constructing some of your own maths and then test. Coming from RS2, it's clunky.
For most users, now that 3.52.00 includes RS3 Analysis, I would recommend they focus on the release candidate and discontinue use of the beta, also.
Anything to simplify the workflow.

I think once you use the new math channels you'll see they are really better and more powerful. Like RS3A, many people resist it because it's different. Once you get over that, it's much better and easier to use.

Beta share to cloud.
In RS3A Beta share the profiles you wan to the cloud.
Production RS3A where you can import the shared profiles.
Then in production you can import them.

I would not agree that it's clunky. It has a lot more features that involve more things. For people like Samir, it's so much more powerful and friendly. For the casual user, they have included the most popular math channels so it's more user friendly.

Let us know what you think. A number of us more experienced users, including James, Ray and I, have had challenges making what we want work in RS3A.
