Garmin Catalyst and a Mac?

Garmin Catalyst and a Mac?
Just picked one up and used it for the first time at PIR yesterday. Pretty much idiot proof (OK, I could use it). Lot's of great information right away, and the on-track "Coaching" was kind of helpful too... need more experience to see.
It's an Android device and seems to pair OK with a Windoze machine, but I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to get the video/data from the device onto a Mac?

Remember, the data is kept on the flash memory in the device, and to keep it dead nuts simple, there is no app or program to view the data alone on a laptop, Mac or Windoze.
For data, Garmin Connect is possible, but when the data is uploaded or exported, it's only at an unusable 1 Hz refresh rate, instead of the good 10 Hz rate logged to the tablet and used by the app internal to the Catalyst.
For the video, there are three valuable videos possible for each session. Some folks pull them off to watch on a larger screen.
They are all stored on the microSD card under the lower rear cover, or if you've put in an additional one on the side, on that one (side mounted mSD card takes priority).
The two made every time you go out are 1) Full session raw video with sound and 2) Optimal Lap, your best performance in each sector stitched together, no sound. You actually see what you did to go quicker than your quickest single lap.
The last video is one you need to have the device render. This combines the data and overlays it onto a new video and can be one lap, the whole session, even the Optimal Lap with speeds, g's and data. Again, all these are on the mSD card.
Most folks, for speed of downloading, they pull the card, look in the folders for the Driver/Car/Track (or a separate folder for the rendered videos).
It's a LOT quicker than connecting to the microUSB port on the side of the unit and pulling it out that way, which is what you're asking about.
To do that with a Windoze or a Mac (the latter recognizes it as an external drive), take a look here: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?fa...o%20your%20Mac.
You will need to use the Android File Transfer App here: https://www.android.com/filetransfer/
Hope this helps.
