Default AiM RS3-beta maps

Is there a tutorial on managing (editing, creating) maps in RS3-beta?

There are a few maps in the provided data base that are named wrong. And I can't figure out a lot of things with the map "editor" provided.
I'd like to be able to :
Change the name, or copy a map in the provided database.
Import maps from RS2.
Create a new map, and "associate" that map with a previously loaded session.

(I've sent the above to AiM, but they tend to take a long time to respond to RS3-beta feedback.)

-Thanks

Report the disparities. It's a beta...

I'll send you a PM with some info.

There is no importing maps from RS2. For segment maps, you will have to rebuild them as the way they handle all the GPS info and maps is totally different in RS3 and RS2. When RS2 was written, there was no GPS on the system. RS3 is written with GPS being the heart of it. Check out this video for some info on the splits and split report in RS3. There is more info in a few previous webinars too.

When you get the splits how you want, you can right click and then make a duplicate map.

Right click in a time-distance graph to get the split options and the ability to save a new split map.

Here is the prior video where Emiliano introduces how to work with the splits in RS3A. It's really pretty trick and the extra graphing add A LOT of power to what you are looking at and how to analyze the data.

With some awesome help from Matt, I've got a few of my questions figured out, and Matt continues to help me with some feature requests with AiM and RS3-beta.

Thanks Matt, you rock!
