Default Bob Knox AiM Seminar

If you have Bob's book, this will be extra interesting. If you don't, I'm sure this will make you want to get it! This should be a great session.

Bob Knox has been involved in motorsports for more than 40 years. From 1972 to 1975 he raced Formula Ford in SCCA club racing then spent 1975 in England working for Hawke Racing Cars and racing in F2000 (there called Super Ford). After returning to North America Bob continued to race Formula Ford from 1977 to 1991 in SCCA Club Racing. 1992 and 1993 were spent in the USAC and SCCA Pro F2000 series and he did a final season in F2000 in SCCA club racing in 1994.

Bob’s experience with in-car data systems began in 1989 when relatively inexpensive data loggers first started to become available outside of professional racing. Beginning in 2004, Bob started working as a free-lance data engineer for various small racing teams and prep shops involved in SCCA club racing. Since 2006 he has also worked as a data engineer for teams in World Challenge GT, Grand Am GT, Grand Am Daytona Prototype, IMSA GTD and Porsche Cup. In addition, he has worked as a race engineer/driver coach in the F2000 Championship Series and USF2000.

Bob is the author of “A Practical Guide to Race Car Data Analysis” and writes software which he uses in his role as a data engineer.
