VBOX HD2 and OBD Link
Anyone with a Porsche using the OBD Link with the VBox HD2?
I bought one and am trying to get Air Intake Temp, Coolant Temp and Oil Temp. I am getting the first two, but cannot seem to get engine Oil temp. Anyone have this working?

Oil Temp is not on the standard OBDII template, for any car, I’m afraid. I have only sold a few of those due to lag and small channel sample. What kind of Porsche?

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the direction. Is there anything useful in the OBDII Link? Do you know which if the 11 streams work? And is there any other way to get Oil temp into the data?
It's a 2016 GT3RS, and I bought it from you a few years ago and it has been working great. See:
When I bought the OBD LInk, my goal was to get the air, water, and oil temps on the video. The first two worked, but no oil temp. I also upgraded the firmware and the VBOX VIdeo, so I could update my scene, and it broke the scene by dropping the car info in the CAN section. Which Porsche should I select to get the most from the CAN stream? I tried the 991.1 and the first gen Cup Car, but neither did a great job of restoring my data streams. I have the old scene and can always fall back in need be.

Oil Pressue
I interacted with Dorthy in support at Racelogic and she got me straightened out. The OBD Link isn't the solution, but instead a new REF file for the 991.1 Porsche that adds additional CAN data streams, including Oil temp, coolant temp, intake air temp, outside air temp, and trans sump temp. She sent me a revised #REF file that solved the problem without the OBD Link.
