Hello fellas;

I had my dealer install a SmartyCam 2.2 in my 991.2 GT3. Unfortunately, when I tested It this evening on the street, I did not see the RPM/brake/throttle register on the screen.
Any advice? I am not exactly sure how my dealer hooked it up since I was not involved in the process.

I don't see a Solo DL or dash in the car. Do you have a GPS antenna connected to the camera?

I'm wondering if you have a SCHD GP 2.2 where they added a GPS (you have speed) but didn't configure the ECU bridge. WIthout more info, you should really go back to the person who did the install to get the balance of the info. Without knowing what is there, it's tough to help.

 

Will give them a call tomorrow and find out--thank you. Ya, external GPS unit but did not install the Solo DL/dash.

 

That’s the standard layout in the camera as delivered.

Sounds like they didn’t configure it for your car. There’s a Bridge (translator of car info to data seen on the video) built in to that camera.

Easy fix.
