Help with Vbox
I'm trying to import a bmp file (new gauge cluster file) that was created in photoshop. When I select "import element", the system is looking for a "video vbox element files" and will not pull up the BMP file. What am I doing wrong?

Most image files importable into Setup are vector images, the most common being .png files. Can you convert your bitmap to a .png and import it that way?
Is this for an HD2 or a Lite?

Regardless of my incorrect terminology, PNG is the acceptable import format for the Lite, and the most common. Can be resized easily, made transparent.
Typically, there are so many more icons that can be used than other systems, that’s been sufficient, but the best person to ask is ShakeNBake. He builds his own custom dash backgrounds in Corel or Adobe, I believe, and then adds measure elements like needles and numbers. I’ll look into it today, but there must be a step missing with the OP, because I haven’t heard of this in a long time.

Software manual states that BMP works, that's why I saved the photoshop file in that format. Will look into changing to PNG when I get home.
I have the Vbox Lite.

Nevermind. First you have create a new element, then import the BMP or PNG image. I was trying to use Import Element, which is incorrect.

Hence my initial explanation of elements. Verbiage!
Glad you worked it out. Post your work up and let's see it!

So I've managed to create a 986 pod and have found the Porsche needle in the app data files. The pod has both rpm (gauge already installed and active), now I need to add a second needle for the speedo, but can't determine how that is done. Thanks in advance!

This is what I'm working on, still a draft and I need to determine how to add a second needle to the gauge for the speedo.
