Default BVOX HD Rollbar Mount is nice

Just did a VBOX HD2 install in a GT4 last night. I didn't know what to expect from the new Racelogic mount - but it ended up working very well. Now if they just provided longer cables!
(I believe this is a competition motorsport rollbar)

One extra snippet in case it helps anyone who wants to try this: the pitch between the bolt holes in the base plate is standard. This means you can use Longacre ring sets with this kit. I had to do that because the Cantrell bar I have is bigger cross section that the rings that came standard in the package I got.

1 5/8" roll bar mounts are standard on the RLACS268 kit shown above. I have begun stocking Longacre universal roll bar mounts that work with this clamshell in 1 1/2" and in 1 3/4" in diameter. It's slick and nice. Cheap for what it is. Beautifully finished.

Jacy (SnB) is a huge contributor to the success of VBOX in this country and a respected colleague!

Kind words Peter!
I don't think Racelogic understands that with you in this forum, they have the best customer service of any system out there.

A fair number of factory Euro bars are 1.5" in diameter, not 1.625"

Get some spare clamps and you'll be set for any eventuality.

^^^ Great idea, Ill put some extra's in my shipment.

I think its easy enough, but maybe I can get a VBox handy shop to put it all in when they do pads and setup. Manthey?
Anyone near Stuttgart or at the Ring that you recommend?

interesting. I just installed the chasis mount quick disconnect. 4 rivnuts and its bolted to the trans tunnel, but roll bar mount would be a nice option
