Solo2 DL on 991.1 C2S - OBD2 Brake Pressure?
Hi,
I'm looking to get a AIM Solo2 DL to for my 2013 991.1 C2S. I've searched through past threads, but can't figure out if OBD2 is going to get me brake pressure data or not. It seems most threads I find are talking about either the 991 GT3, or a GT4, and I haven't been able to find anything for a Carrera S.
According to the PDF on the AIM website, there is an ECU channel in OBD2 for brake pressure ("ECU_13 BRAKE_PRESS Brake pressure"), but then there's a disclaimer right below that says not all channels are validated. I've also read several old threads that say just because the channel is available, doesn't mean there will be data available in that channel.
Would anybody with this setup be able to verify if they get brake pressure data or not please?
Thanks!

Yes, OBDII brake pressure works in 991.1 GT3 and GT3RS cars for sure. It works on a 991 Turbo. The platform has the same level of internal communications so it should work on all 991.1 cars. Thanks for reading the caveats, though. Most folks don’t. OBDII brake does NOT come through on the 981 GT4 platform, even though the same protocol is suggested by AiM for those cars as well, hence the warning.
