There used to be a menu button on the old SD camera, but I don’t remember seeing one on the newer ones. I use Disk Utility in Apple OS to format larger than 32 GB cards.

It will ask if there is a problem with the formatting when it boots, but I don't think there is a menu option.

The only way to get the SCHD2 to format a card is to first format it with Disk Utility and then the SCHD wants to 'format' it.
Whatever.
