Default Is There An Audible Accelerometer

I was at a HPDE last weekend and I overheard one of the guys with lots of racing experience mention what I will call an "audible accelerometer". Basically it would call out in realtime how much (lateral) G force the car was experiencing. I've tried searching but the terms that I am using bring up a lot of medical related items instead of racing. I found a couple that will show a visual readout, but no luck on audible. Probably an app that might do it, but was hoping for avoiding the phone route. Anyone ever seen one? Thanks in advance.

I’ve heard of that. A few years ago. But now I use and sell the Apex Pro. Much quicker and easier.

Hmm, interesting product. I like the idea of the real-time feedback. The website could do a better job of explaining what information it is generating instead of going heavy into marketing mode. Might be interested once I get more into competition.

The marketing mode, IMO, is more about product education, since it’s a different way than people have used in the past to calibrate their butt gyros.

They now use them in the new Skip Barber Racing School Mustangs as part of the package.

If you’re at a track in the Southeast, Andrew Rains and others are often in attendance and offer demos. It’s really cool and it does work. I have them at David Murry, Apex Driving Events and SCDA at VIR this month and next.

Can't you just get something to repeat "gas! Gas! Gas!"
