Default GMPP E-67 with AIM MXG and HP TUNERS

Greeting from Indonesia. I am sending you email, as I have problems logging in into the account.

Using HPTUNERS for doing TUNING

Using GMPP E-67 with OEM LS9 Engine

Using AIM RACE for DATA DISPLAY
  • AIM RS3 - 3.16.31
  • AIM MXG - 1.26.25
  • AIM Smarty Cam - 1.03.72
  • MXG is Connected to GMPP E-67 on Chevrolet LS9 Engine with OEM Super Charger through GMPP E-67 OBDII port.
  • MXG using GM-E67_PERF_ECU PROTOCOL - It shows Enabled Channel is 10/10

Connection/s :

Connected to GMPP E-67 -- DIRECT CONNECTION (8-Sensors)
  • IAT-1 Sensor
  • Oil Temp
  • Trottle Valve Body
  • MAF
  • Water Temp
  • Alternator
  • O2 Narrow Band

Connected to AIM MXG -- DIRECT CONNECTION (8-Sensors)
  • IAT-2 Sensor
  • Oil Pressure
  • Oil Pressure
  • Oil Temperature
  • S/C Water Temp
  • Fuel Pressure
  • Front Brake Pressure
  • Gear Position Sensor

Comment/s :
  • REALLY LIKE the AIM MXG as DATA DISPLAY
  • REALLY LIKE the HP TUNERS tuning function and its data displayed on PC

Existing :
  • MXG using GM-E67_PERF_ECU PROTOCOL. It shows only 10 data from GMPP
  • Using HPTUNER device to do tuning on GMPP E-67 ECU. This will be connected to GMPP E-67 ODBII port
  • When DOING TUNING using Using HPTUNER,
  • that means we have to disconnect the AIM MXG from GMPP E-67 ODBII port
  • that means the MXG is OFF and we can not see all the data from sensors connected directly to AIM MXG
  • When RACING
  • it means that means we can ONLY have either one only connected, either HPTUNER OR MXG.
  • there are some data that are shown on HPTUNERS, but its not on MXG
  • there are 8 additional sensor connected to MXG, but its not on GMPP

Comments / Questions ONLY :
  • We use AIM MXG for DATA DISPLAY during the RACE. Is there ways to read more data from the GMPP E-67, instead of reading only 10/10
  • Is there any trick that HP TUNERS and AIM MXG can be installed to the GM-E67 ECU ODBii at the same time ?
  • Really likes the HP TUNERS, But, still need to get other data from additional engine sensors, which is not connected to GM E-67, and only available on AIM MXG
  • Really likes the AIM MXG for data display, But, still need to get other detail data from GM E-67 which is currently not on AIM MXG, only on HP TUNERS for engine logging and tuning purpose
  • PLUS, for TUNING PURPOSE, we need to have HP TUNERS doing the logging on ECU for detail engine data & analysis and actual map modification
  • How does those racers out there who race using GM E-67 with AIM MXG solves the problems ?

I'm not familiar with that ECU. In the past, GM has had limited CAN connection, so you might have a hard time. I would suggest a splitter like this https://www.summitracing.com/parts/m...SABEgLKKPD_BwE so you can connect both.
