Cross Country Rally Cayennes?
Hi!
Wondering why no one uses the 955/957 Porsche Cayenne for Cross Country/Baja rallies.
They are capable offroaders proved by Transsiberia Rally, with a quite powerful engine, good brakes, and well handling with independent suspensions.
Not that heavy (for the SUV) it should be as good as the Toyota Land Cruiser 155 for Baja/Cross Country rallying - still being in a similar price range.
I saw that one of the Rennlist users used his Cayenne for BajaXL - admiring that, however, I'm talking about more professional cross country rallying.
I found very little information about Cayenne used in motorsport. Maybe some of you have some more details?
