Default wax recommendation

My routine has been zymol washed, dry with clean white towels, then waxed with liquid wax. The liquid wax doesn't last long even though the boxster only get taken out on sunny days may be once a week. I am done with the liquid stuff and decided to switch to something that will last a little longer with UV protection and don't mind buffing. Mind sharing your experience and suggestion?

I would recommend a sealant like Opti-Seal for longevity or use a wax like Collinite that has some staying power

If it's a nice weather car I would recommend Pinnacle Souveran. Average protection but incredibly deep look and very easy to apply and remove.

All good suggestions.
For me P21s 100% Carnuba. Apply with hands and not applicator.
For daily drive a sealer is the way to go.

I have been using Swissvax waxes for the past couple of years and I can say that I truly love them. I especially like Endurance. It has PTFE and it last. I also use Concorso and if you like waxing on a regular basis, that may be one of the best ones for you.

P21s is a really underrated wax, I have a tub of it and it is so easy to use.

The number of waxes recommended will equal the number of responses
Good news is that there are a lot of great "waxes" available
Better question is whether you want to go with a sealant or good old fashioned carnauba

I have the two DD and the garage queen to cover, based on time spent and durability, sealant seems to be the way to go, thanks!

I have gotten to a point where my DD's only get spray wax after a wash. But the garage queen does get pinnacle

Default Clay time?

So...I ONR two bucketed the car, all grims were off, I always go through almost all panels with bare hands after drying. Sealed the car, looking good! Didn't have enough time to wax yesterday, so I hurried home after work hoping to get a head start. Feeling my way around, some area are particularly slick than others, which is fine. Some areas feel like there are small gritty stuff sticking on top of the paint. There are minor stone chips not enough to bother me. But the gritty stuff (definitely not dirt buildup) annoys the crap outta me. Should I claybar the car first before I lay a fresh layer of zymol wax on it? I have never clay before really making me nervous of how much force I need to apply, any pointers?

I would recommend to clay bar. Just use a mild claybar and a good clay lube and you should be fine. That will make the paint smooth.

For a sealant, I highly recommend Menzerna Powerlock. Goes on easy and lasts a really long time. For a coating, I recommend McKee's. Very easy to apply and should last close to 2 years.
