Default Need Some Advice on Stains on Leather Door Panels

I am looking at a pair of leather door panels for my Boxster. The leather door panels (IMHO) look a lot better than the stock hard plastic ones that came with the car. However, as you can see in the photos there are stains on both door panels. I am guessing the windows were left down and these are water marks. But, that is only a guess. I have not seen them in person.

What do you think? Will these clean up or are those permanent stains that will require professional attention.

TIA

I think some cleaning/conditioning will take care of the streaks. They look to be in good shape. I would ask to see pictures of the internals to make sure nothing is warped (assuming they were rained on)

Afshin.... Thanks for the input. Here is a photo of the inside of the panel. It looks good to me.

Chuck the inside looks good also. I don't see any of the leather picking up from the edges and everything looks to be tacked down. That will definitely look better than the plastic trim!

I agree, this looks to be a leather cleaner and conditioner fix.

Thanks for the guidance. I bought the leather door panels and they cleaned up without an issue or a hint of the water marks. They are a vast improvement over the hard vinyl door panels. As usual, Rennlist has come through! Many thanks.

Your welcome Chuck. Adding leather to the interior is a significant upgrade and really something that should be stock on cars in this price range (when new). I saw the full leather on another Boxster right before I ordered my Spyder and I knew right then and there that I had to have it, no regrets.

Would love to see some shots of the door skins installed.

I agree. I have changed the air bag to a leather one and added a 996 leather cluster surround. The leather door panels will be a welcome addition. When I get them installed I'll post it in a new thread and let you know.
