996 Turbo, black - 1 step polish with Rupes 21
This 911 Turbo had been in storage at the owner's house over the winter and was mainly in need of an exterior detail. Given that the car is black, the paint is relatively soft and the owner isn't interested in a show car finish, we decided on a one-step correction. The car was washed with Optimum No-Rinse, clayed to remove contamination from the paint work, and then all trim was taped up for protection during the polishing process. All polishing was done with the Rupes 21 and 75E polishers, Lake Country black foam finishing pads along with HD Polish were used to achieve an approximate 80%+ correction rate, greatly increasing the depth and shine of the metallic black paintwork. Protection was provided by Optimum Polymer Technologies' Optiseal, topped by Dodo Juice Supernatural.

Personally i think dodo juice supernatural gives one of the best deepest wettest finishes to dark colors, i too use the lake country pads i think great quality
But only thing i do different is stack or finish will collinite 476 for durability
Really only on daily drivers, i get 6 months out of that wax, and yes i put it over the dodo juice
Lighter colors get pinnacle soverign including red
Whites i like poor boys finished with collinite
Yes i have too much time on my hands

Btw the paint correction came out excellent swirls are gone
Looks unbelievable
The rims look phenomenal as well what did you use?
I get the feeling the job wasn't aggressive but the results are phenomenal!

I used Optimum Power Clean at 3:1 dilution on the wheel faces, and IIRC, full strength on the wheel barrels.
