The buyer of this gorgeous guards red Porsche 911 Carrera S Cab ordered XPEL ULTIMATE self-healing full front protection, plus full doors. Watch as XPEL Houston does their thing.

Can you recommend anyone in the greater Kansas City area for a custom install? I'm not in immediate need but want to be prepared.

Wondering if the pre cut kits wrap around the panels edge or are they X MM from the edge type of deal?

Also have the same question as above, who is a good vendor in CT area? willing to travel to NY or MA if needed to get the best experience as well.

thanks

Rob,

The beauty with a computer cut kit is the installer can go in and manually extend edges to wrap where need be. Some edges can be wrapped, while others cannot be without removing body panels. Hoods, fenders, and some parts of bumpers can usually be wrapped easily.

In CT I recommend
Automobilia, LLC
550 Island Lane Unit 10 View Map
West Haven, CT 06516
http://www.automobiliaautosalon.com
(203) 795-3998

Let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have a 993 and am curious if you have a install pics of how the clear bra deals with the black welting on the bumper and the fenders.

thanks

Thank you, I will look them up when I'm ready.

I too am thinking I want a computer cut +20% to get the full overlay without having the installer cut anything on the paint. The cutting makes me really nervous, especially when working with an installer I have no previous knowledge of.

Rob,

Could you explain what you mean by black welting. If this helps here is an article about an installation we did on a 993.
Porsche 911 (993) has 15 year old clear bra removed and replaced with XPEL ULTIMATE paint protection film
