I am having a tough time cleaning tar and small stones stuck on my RS spyder style centerlock wheels on my 997 turbo S. The small pebbles are stuck on the wheel and I was able to pry some of them off. I am concerned about scratching the wheel. What do you guys recommend to clean this up properly without damage to wheel? Will this Sonax wheel cleaner work on it? Can you reccommend something? thanks

After that its a good idea to clean the wheels off, you can use car wash soap if they are not that dirty or Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner. Then put a coat of wax or sealant on the rims.
Auto Finesse Mint Rims is a good one.
