Post Tire dressing recommendations

I haven't found anything that looks good and stays that way for more than a day or so. Does anyone have a strong recommendation of a product?

I am pretty happy with One Grand ERV Dressing. It is not greasy like a lot of stuff. I buy it from Larry at Carcareonline.

I've tried that, and I'm not 100% satisfied. I picked up some Meguiars #40 on Larry recommendation, it's on the car now, I'll see how it lasts.

Is Meguiars #40 the gel that is rubbed on? In the past I had bought some Meguias tire gel and I wasn't pleased with the result (didn't look any different after application), but I don't remember the name.

I also use the ERV Dressing. It is ok and makes the tire look black but doesn't shine like an Armor All.

Hi Damian,

STP "Son of a Gun" works really well on tyres (as it does on all vinyl, rubber, etc) without leaving some horrible black residue. Just re-do it every month or two. It looks especially good after the next time that you wash the car.

Cheers,

David
