Default Scratch/Scuff in rear window 996 C4

I just purchased a 1999 C4 and the back window has some scuffs on it. They appear on the inside, almost like the previous owner tried to haul something that was too big for the backseat. I have already clayed the window, and it may have reduced the appearance of the scuffs, but they are still visible. Should I keep on claying the window in the hopes of eventually breaking down the scuff, or should I invest in glass polish kit (I'm a little leery/nervous about this); or just simply take it to a professional detailer? Any suggestions?

Carpro CeriGlass - a special glass polishing technique developed by the innovative special ceramic, Cerium Oxide, together with some other nano components that can be used by hand or machine and is so effective, it even removes fine to medium scratches and it leaves glass clen and crystal clear .
