Recommendations for steam cleaner?

I should have added that I'm looking for a smallish portable device. I'm not looking to use it every day either. I'm going to assume that the price range for something like that can't be that wide.

I was looking for the same thing this past summer and ended up doing quite a bit of (re)searching.
It appears that when it comes to steam cleaners, it truly is a case of go big or go home. The little ones are underpowered and generally do not extract. The industrial ones with extraction are/were just too bulky and expensive for occasional use.
I decided the best option was simply to rent as needed, or to take my car to a local Stanley Steemer where they did my interior carpets for $80, and far better than I could.
