Default Removing glue residue from leather seat

My 407 ETR (Speedpass for US guys) transponder came unglued from the windshield and landed on the passenger seat. It left a bit of sticky mess. How can I safely remove the glue without taking any of the colour out.

Anything you use must be tested on a inconspicuous area of the same finish as the leather you are trying to work on.

Then IPA 90, GooBeGone, 3M Adhesive Remover, in order of strength.

Try to lift it off with a sweeping motion and not rub it in.

Goo be gone did the trick followed by some Lexol leather conditioner.

Another great product that's safe is Goo Gone in the spray bottle. Works on so many things. As always, test in a small area first.
