Default Brake fluid spillage

So how do you correct brake fluid spillage on your paint? Is a paint-over the only solution?

If the paint is damaged (burned through) then a respray of the area is the only option. If the damage is surface only you may be able to polish it. Can you post a picture of the damage?

if didn`t stay on paint for long time , than you can polish it .
compound first and finish polish , not an easy job , the stain is really stuborn.
here is what i worked on.... the wheel was damage/ruined , the paint got a bad stain.

paint before:

AFTER polish : 98% clean

u need a cutting pad and compound ( meg 105) , but if u are not familiar with polishing paint than let a pro to do it for you.

Brake Fluid

Common names-Polyethylene glycol usually a mixture of Ethylene, Diethylene, Polyethylene and Triethylene Glycol and monobutyl ether and cleaning additives; pH 9.5 – 10, this alkaline will degrade paint if allowed to remain on the paint surface for any period of time

Correction- remove as soon as feasible using a chemical paint cleaner and then an abraive polish. If paint surface has become degraded a re-spray will be required
