I would like to do an extra thorough job of polishing my several sets of wheels this winter. I think they will benefit from a polisher, much like the car paint benefits from a dual action polisher.
I have a DAS, and wonder if there is an attachment I can use for polishing the wheels? It would have to be a different shape than the pads we use for paint (perhaps a come shape?).
I have the Mother's ball that chucks into a hand drill, but I don't particularly like to hold the drill to polish a car or its wheel. Also, the ball is too big to fit between the spokes on some of the wheels.
So - if you want to power polish something like the wheels, what do you use?
Or, am I condemned to using elbow grease?

I know mothers makes a smaller power ball which can get into the smaller openings. I've never used one so I can't really comment on how well they work. A DA would only really help on the flat surfaces.
