I've searched the archives here but didn't really come up with any consensus on a "best" brand of car care products - suggestions seem to run the gamut from Zaino, to Optimum, to PS21 to Mothers to Meguires and on and on. Everyone seems to have their favorites. I've used Meguires Gold Class car wash in the past and had pretty good results with it, but I recently purchased a 993 and want to make sure it's treated to some very safe products that do their job well.

Any suggestions from the detailing experts here for a good suite of products (wash soap, wheel and tire cleaner, wax, etc.) for a polar silver 993 with black leather interior would be greatly appreciated.

haha I just posted a very similar thread. It is hard to find solid opinions on products on here but it seems there is no such thing as a perfect product and you must pick yours.

The Meguiars soap is fine for cleaning.
Wheels - P21S

Tire Cleaner - I use the car wash soap and a soft scrub brush. Be sure to apply a good protectant afterwards. 303 and Griots are both good and leave a satin finish.

Wax - depends on what you want.

Leather - Leatherique prestine clean and rejuvenator oil

I'm looking for the works: a car wash, wheel cleaner, tire treatment, and interior cleaner/protectant for the leather/vinyl interior. Suggestions for clay/polish/wax would also be appreciated. As I said in my original post, I've searched here and elsewhere, but there's a dizzying number of products out there and was hoping those more experienced here could share their knowledge and distill them down to a few good suggestions that I could try.
