Thanks Phil, just placed my order! Hopefully I wont get dinged at the Canadian Customs too much!

I also have a question for you.
I ordered the PO85RD, the PO91E, PO115C and the PO87MC.
I will be using the PC with 4 inch edge pads for the above and I have 4 cars to deal with.
One older Mercedes (97 E320) in Tectite gray, with plenty of scratches and rough paint
One new 08 C class in black with light spider webs
one 95 Guards Red 911 with non clearcoat ( that is where I'm really afraid!)
one 95 Midnight Blue 911 with tons of scratches, its the track car...

So given the above I would appreciate any sequence that I need to use these products with. Especially I'm concerned on screwing up the guards red....
Thanks!

One older Mercedes (97 E320) in Tectite gray, with plenty of scratches and rough paint

I would do IP with an orange pad followed by MP with a white pad

One new 08 C class in black with light spider webs
Probably only need a white pad with PO85RD the po115

one 95 Guards Red 911 with non clearcoat ( that is where I'm really afraid!)

IP with orange/PO85RD with white/po115 with black

one 95 Midnight Blue 911 with tons of scratches, its the track car...

IP with orange/PO85RD with white/po115 with black

Let me know if that helps.

Phil,

Do you use the adams in and out spray regularly and can you tell me more abuot it other than what is on the website? I was debating about picking some up but I was worried about a few things.

1. Will it harm the materials in my engine bay (especially long term)? This is especially important for me, I really want to keep this car forever and would kick myself if I did something stupid to damage it.
2. Does it attract dust or does it help keep it off?
3. How clean does it need to be in the engine bay before using this?
4. Does it offer any type of protection for rubber, plastic, paint, metal?
5. How much will I need for one engine bay?

Also are your MF's and the Adams products part of the sale?

Please feel free to PM or email me if you prefer afshinn@hotmail.com

Thanks

Marine Blue,

In and out will make your engine detailing a whole lot easier for sure.
1. Will it harm the materials in my engine bay (especially long term)? This is especially important for me, I really want to keep this car forever and would kick myself if I did something stupid to damage it.

So far I've used it for 3 years on my cars with no issues. its a dressing that's in the form of an aerosol can so that you can hit the hard to reach places, for the easier items you can go over it with the dressing you have been using.
2. Does it attract dust or does it help keep it off?

I typically will wipe the excess off so its a matte finish

I don't see that it attracts dust because its covered by the hood. Typically it still looks good a couple months after, you can rinse the engine off and it still looks good so it does a good job protecting and coating the plastics and rubber.

3. How clean does it need to be in the engine bay before using this?

Well I wouldn't exactly put in and out on the engine if it was extremely dirty but if its not too bad you can spray it on. I have seen customers do it but I would prefer to just wash the engine again.

4. Does it offer any type of protection for rubber, plastic, paint, metal?

It will protect the rubber and plastics. not so much the metal and paint.

5. How much will I need for one engine bay?

1/2 a can should be more than enough to do an engine its just how trigger happy will you be.

Thank you Phil, I will be putting in an order shortly for this and the MF's.

I will hold off on the wax for now since I have a ton that I really want to finish.

Phil another question

I am looking for a really nice MF for final wipedown of the car with quick detail spray. Specifically I need something that will not lint at all and will not scratch the paint. I can't seem to find a happy medium. I have tons of MF's (some pricey ones) and either they lint or they scratch.

This MF will be used as a final wipedown for concours prep so lint can deduct points.

the towels I would recommend would be the Uber Super Plush towels but we will not have them in stock till after labor day, they are in route to us and probably will get stuck in customs.

We have the Uber All Purpose towels and the Uber MF towels which are good as well but for the ultimate towels the Super Plush would be the way to go.

When is the show?

Show is September 6th so I would need everything before then. I am working on cleaning up the engine right now using what I have but I need the In&Out to finish the engine. I was going to try and combine the glass MF with a good MF for wipedown with my order for the In&Out spray.
