Default Need some recommendations on products

So I bought a Porter Cable so I can get a real detail on my car and I have a few questions on the products I should use.

First off I have to buy a velcro backing pad and pads. Which size pads will be best?

Next, I need a polish that will remove light swirl marks. It doesn't have to be perfect and remove everything just clean up the paint a little bit. Which type of pad is needed with this polish?

After that I plan on using NXT 2.0 wax since I have read that it lasts a very long time and works pretty well. Which pad should be used to apply the wax?

I do not need a professional level products just something that will let me do the job right. (For an amateur.)

Thanks!
Matt

Since I know Meguiars I'll suggest their products...

Dual Action Cleaner Polish #83 - Start with this at speed setting 5
Use a Polishing Pad (Maroon)

#9 Swirl Remover - Speed Setting 5
Use a Foam Finishing Pad (Yellow)

You can also apply the NXT with the Porter Cable - You can use the Yellow Pad for this although you'll want a clean one which hasn't been used with polishes.

Above will get your car looking great as long as the scratches aren't too deep.

Since you are wanting something that can be found rather easily I would suggest Meguiar's #9 with a yellow polishing pad. It can be found at most auto parts stores like Napa, etc. If you are wanting something with a little more correcting ability and willing to order online or do some internet searching to find it local I would suggest Meguiar's #80. It will leave the same gloss as #9 but has more correcting abilities. Following either of those with a couple coats of NXT 2.0 will leave a great finish!

I would probably go with 5.5 inch pads.
