Found a black sport seat in need of a bit of care. Definitely fixable and a good deal. Has the cloth insert.

I have the dark blue interior found in some of the 944s around 1989. Most people mistake it for black; would it be possible to dye the black sport seat to match the rest of the car?

 

I think your best bet would be to take both seats and get them recovered by an upholsterer taking care to match the dark blue original seats. Then you would have two brand new looking seats that match perfectly.
