Phil,

Thanks for the Holiday Sale.
Does this mean that in addition to Holiday Sale (discount) we also get Promo code of 10%?

Sorry I guess I should add that. I would be out of business if that were the case.

Do you have any suggestions for removing either completely hardened tree sap or spider droppings? My Sapphire Metallic has countless small incredibly hard dark spots (pin head size)on most of the flat surfaces. The paint and clearcoat is perfect but it sat in a covered storage building for 3 years with many spiders overhead. The only thing that has seemed to work so far is using the edge of a credit card to pop the dome but it still leaves a small spot that responds to WD-40 but laughs at Bug and Tar remover, claybars, and turpentine. There has to be an easier way it's taken me over 4 hours to do 1/4 of the hood.

Thanks

I'll see if I can get a few tonight. Does your email service have an issue with large files? I would have to take them in macro and jpegs would be about 2MB.

If that's the case I'll just torch the car now, I hate spiders too

Bump for Phil, who is awesome to work with!

As for the spider droppings, some body solvent may help to loosen them up-and polishing on a cutting pad can remove spider droppings, but you will need to polish out the car after using the cutting pad to knock down the spots. Good luck with it,

Steve

Phil, wifey bought a new Mercedes CLK550 Cabriolet in black yesterday. I got the car in my garage and really looked the paint over and it is darn near perfect. No swirl or toweling marks....so....

I want to put a coat of Mezerna FMJ on it. Do I need to clay it and buff it with Final Polish II or can I just apply the FMJ right over the dealers detail job?

Do the full job, I would wash, clay, and use the final polish on it. Then do the FMJ.

I think you will be surprised what you get afterwards.

+1 on Phil.
My 993 is now tucked away for the winter, looking like it just rolled out of the factory... Thanks Phil!

Thanks a lot Phil! I ordered an Adam's kit and some other products from Phil several weekends ago, and I must say that the customer service was top-notch! I mentioned the possibility of him doing a detailing job over the phone, which I began to regret while I was still speaking as almost any other person would've become pushy and insisted that their services were necessary. However, Phil was incredibly helpful and suggested I should try it myself first, and, depending on the results, call him in the spring for a detail. The products would've been shipped the next day, but I had been an idiot and transposed a digit in my CC number and then not checked my emails for several days, but it was okay as I had no pressing need for my supplies. Everything arrived and the packaging was truly superb. The only issue I had was that I couldn't get everything to fit back into the box for storage, whoever packed this must be a genius!

Overall, this was a perfect shopping experience and I will be sure to go to Phil for all my detailing needs!
