Post " Best in Class "

I want to thank everybody especially this forum for all the pointers and insight .
Lots of knowledge here .

I entered my first concours this past weekend at the Porsche Club of America -CWR Sun Peaks 2007 . I won " Best in Class " my class was "1995 to 2002" .
I have a 1995 white cabriolet with close to 200,000 km . It is not a easy task to both have a "nice car " and "drive it like you stole it car " . Because I enjoy both detailing and spirited driving .
I am thinking of getting something ... P-car of course .... that I can really devote to being a concours only project .

Again thanks again to the detail gurus here .

Cheers Guy

Nice! Must be in really good shape to win with all those miles!

As for a second Porsche, you can get a '99 C2 for really cheap. That way, you have a more modern 996, and a car you can pretty up and treat like a garage queen.

I am thinking more in the line of 356 . A dentist friend has a 1959 all oringinal
never been restored and I had the pleasure of detailing it for the past few years . I would like to make an offer on it with thought of rebuilding and restoring it from the ground on up .

Cheers Guy

I was only off by 40 years! I can't imagine what a 356 drives like after all that time! Sounds like a fun project - good luck!

A 356 (A, B or Sportster?) would make a great renovation project, any questions just ask
