Monterey Historics - PICS
Better late than never. Of interest:
- Porsches, Porsches & more Porsches!
- cable operated brakes on vintage Bugattis
- extra set of spark plugs in vintage Bugatti cockpit (tools too)
- Drum brakes with internal cooling fan on early Vette racer
- Amazing collection of OLD Bentley racers
- You think the paddock was impressive - take a look at the pics from the parking lot!
- Can Am cars that literally shake the pavement like NHRA top fuel dragsters... What a series that must have been.
This event is a "must attend" for motorsports enthusiasts. Looking forward to next year.

Fantastic - Thanks for sharing! I'll be there next year...... it's been a bi-annual trip that may become annual for me.... It is the most fabulous car week(end) ANYWHERE. The July Vintage races at Elkhart Lake may be the biggest, and very very nice, but it's not the same. I've also been to the Goodwood Revival - absolutely incredible - but still not the Monterey weekend. It really is a must go. Thanks again!
