Question Fabric near sunroof has come loose

Hi Folks,

I asked in the 964 forum, and no answers there, so maybe here. I have an 89 964 C4, and the fabric just behind the sunroof (just above my head) has come loose. There is some sticky substance on the cloth (old glue?) that is just not holding the cloth in place.

So, the question is: do I glue it back in place or use some kind of clip? Suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
Peter

Foam & Fabric Adhesive:
This one-of-a kind adhesive Sprayway’s Foam & Fabric Adhesive bonds fabric, carpet or Velcro®, to foam, it's great for headliners, loose carpet, and Velcro® backed polisher pads.

Adhesives are susceptible to the strong solvents in auto detailing products; it isn't long before some of them will dislodge the Velcro® from your foam pads. Make a quick repair with this adhesive for use on loose carpet or a headliner, the sticky adhesive bonds quickly and will not leave stains or any residual odour- Proper Auto Care - http//:www.properautocare.com
