Default Polishing Pads for multiple cars

I've always done my polishing and waxing by hand. However, I've decided to order the PC this week. I have 3 vehicles I plan to work, a Black 93 BMW, a metallic brown 79SC, and a red 96 993 C4S. I know that different types of polish should only be used with different pads, but should each color car have its own set of polishing pads? That is, is there any chance that the color that comes off onto a polishing pad can be transferred to a different color car even if the pad is washed between jobs?

The paint transfer from single stage paints onto pads is no problem. Just wash and rinse the pads well after each use, place them on the PC and spin them dry.

You're then ready to go at the next car.

Don't use the dryer to dry your pads!!

Hope that helps,
Anthony

Default Thanks Anthony.

I ordered the PC package from Autopia that comes with the pads rather than trying to figure out what type and size pads I need. It looks like it will cover everything I need to do. It just comes with one set so being able to do all the cars with one set helps.
