Default I am looking for a product to finish my engine bay ??

I have a 951 engine bay that is clean and it seems that in some areas of the engine bay Porsche paints over that Wurth body coating?? ..
I want to use a wax but I am afraid that the wax may show white if its not cleaned out of every crevice and there are a lot when they use this Wurth stuff ...
Any suggestions
Anthony told me to use Optimum Protectant (sp?) on the trim and hoses and rubber
but what about these areas ??
Thanks in advance
Regards
Ed

To wax an area without the hassle of the white residue then you need to use the Optimum Spray wax....because it has no cleaners or solvents it won't stain any black trim or molding..basically it

On body paint ??
I have heard people use that on hoses and the like, but never body paint ??
Anthony
So the residue would remain transparent ?

Well when you wax with a traditional paste or creme wax it is the cleaning agents and/or solvents that discolor moldings and trims and since these materials are rather porous these ingredients then dry up and whiten. You may notice it right away but a few days later you'll see it.

The Optimum spray wax is void of any cleaning agents and solvents so nothing is left behind or rather nothing is left to "dry and haze" and show up later in the form of residue. You can literally wipe it right over a rubber molding and it wont discolor it.

So use the Protectant Plus on the hoses an dsuch and on all the painted areas use the Optimum Spray wax and you'll be fine. Remember though that the spray wax has no cleaners in it so it won't CLEAN and polish the paint. It is only a protectant for paint.

Here is a red Turbo I did today with Optimum Polish and then sealed with Optimum spray wax.

Hope that helps,
Anthony
