CLEAR 3M BRA - YES OR NO?
Do real car detail guys want a 3M clear bra stuck on the front of there cars??
Now, I'd like the answer in the context of having a "perfect' front nose paint job with not a single mark on it, and yes then taking this perfectly detailed unmarked car to DEs!!!! With the DE thing in mind, (you know 80-120mph and coming up on cars bumpers), now what? clear bra yes or no?? and reasons either way.
thanks guys

If you could locate someone who is skilled and experienced in custom film applications, then it will not be noticeable at all on the bumper. This is because the seams will be hidden and tucked wherever possible. The hood can be covered entirely to remove the seams as well, but locating an installer capable of doing this is quite challenging. Instead of pics from 5-6ft away, here are some close-up pictures of what custom application looks like.

Several benefits to having seams tucked wherever possible:
-minimal collection of dirt / wax on seams
-when waxing vehicle, there's no need to be careful of kicking wax onto the seam and creating a white line.
-no seams to distract from vehicle's appearance

That is an incredible install job. Mine doesn't look anywhere near that good, but it has been two years. I echo the comments regarding tucking the plastic in as mine was not completely tucked and it shows dark areas where debris is collecting. I'll be having it redone. It's nice to know how well it should look. Thanks for taking the time to share your quality work.
